Team '25 Anaheim rewind—a recap of our favourite moments

Explore Team '25 highlights: Atlassian announcements, AI insights, expert sessions, awards, and how The Adaptavist Group is driving innovation across the ecosystem.
As we wrap up the knowledge-filled, AI-packed days, let's take a look back at some of the highlights from Team '25 Anaheim.
Firstly, no recap is complete without diving into the big announcements from the Founder Keynote session, led by Atlassian President Anu Bharadwaj, Brian Duffy CRO, and Mike Cannon-Brookes, CEO and Co-Founder. This year was another bumper year of exciting changes, and our experts across The Adaptavist Group are already discussing the great opportunities these announcements will bring for our customers.

Atlassian sessions

Alongside the news from Atlassian, attendees were wowed by an opening keynote featuring James Vowles, Team Principal at Atlassian Williams Racing Team, and Jenson Button, 2009 Formula 1 World Champion and Atlassian Williams Racing Ambassador, discussing high-stakes teamwork.
This session delved into lessons around teamwork in high-pressure environments and how everyone from the ground up is involved in driving success—from the pit crew and drivers to wider tech and business teams.
Closing up the event, the final keynote session was all about AI-driven learning and knowledge discovery. Featuring Ben Gomes, SVP Learning and Education at Google, and Sal Khan, Founder and CEO of Khan Academy. The session explored the importance of learning and how technology has evolved how we learn, bringing new opportunities for knowledge sharing. The conversation delved into topics around the importance of curiosity and how this can sometimes be naturally stifled as an instinct, how to ask the right questions, and learning the best ways to grow through thinking.
In addition to these, Atlassian ran a selection of learning and breakout sessions that expanded on the keynote topics and provided real-life examples for making the most of your tools.

On our booth

At The Adaptavist Group booth, we had some great conversations with customers and partners and made some new connections. We brought together four businesses from across The Adaptavist Group to showcase our holistic offerings to help maximise value from Atlassian tools.

Our innovative Marketplace app providers:

ScriptRunner: Redefine what's possible in Jira, Confluence and beyond.
Kolekti: Extend the power of Confluence with Kolekti's essential apps that end inefficient work.
Upscale: Unlock even more value from your Atlassian tools with Upscale apps.

Our solutions and consulting experts:

Adaptavist: Ignite your transformation with innovative and intelligent solutions
All our teams were on hand to demo and showcase innovations, answer questions, and network with attendees. We also had two speaking sessions that deep-dived into thought leadership and offerings around AI and Service Management.

Our speaking sessions

Sponsor workshop: AI in action: adding value the smart way

During this 45-minute workshop, speakers Reece Lander, Staff Engineer at ScriptRunner, Abi Brown, Senior Customer Success Manager at Kolekti, and Cannon Lafferty, Head of Consulting North America at Adaptavist, explored how organisations can make the most of AI and our offerings to meet businesses' needs. They shared how ScriptRunner and Kolekti offerings are supported and enhanced with AI and how to make the most of AI to solve business challenges with services from Adaptavist.

Expo theatre session: The chicken and eggs of Service Management

In this short talk, Phill Fox, Principal Customer Success Advocate at Adaptavist, looked at practical ways you can change your current service management practices to deliver a more streamlined, effective system. Phill even threw in a few chicken and egg jokes to keep the audience laughing.

Contributions to three local charities

From every badge scanned at the booth and those who choose to donate using the QR code, AdaptaKind, together with Atlassian Foundation and Appfire Town, raised a fantastic $30,000 for the three local charities as part of Team ‘25: LA Waterkeeper, Fire Watch, and Donors Choose. You can find out about these charities here, and there's still time to donate.
Thank you to everyone who visited our booth and helped to support these charities.

It's not all work though

With a mindblowing amount of learning and news throughout the day, we still got the chance to relax and have fun in the evenings with a selection of events where we could spend more time catching up with our customers and partners.
One big highlight was The Adaptavist Group exclusive customer event in Toontown at Disneyland® Park. We were joined by a few new friends in costumes and experienced out-of-the-world excitement during Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite. From engaging conversations to immersive experiences, this night was all about innovation, collaboration, and a touch of Disney magic!

Most of the group are wearing matching bright orange 'The Adaptavist Group' hoodies and some have Mickey or Minnie ears on. The setting is colourful and whimsical, with heart-shaped decorations and vibrant flowers surrounding the house entrance. The group appears happy and excited.
